FSD developed concise and easy-to-reference booklets for imams, scholars, and Dawah leaders on transgender and same-sex issues. These booklets summarize relevant Quranic evidence, authentic Hadiths, and scholarly positions to help Ulema address these sensitive contemporary topics with knowledge, clarity, and confidence.
In today’s world, discussions around gender, sexuality, identity, and morality are increasingly shaped by global media, education systems, legal frameworks, and imported ideological narratives. Many communities are exposed to these ideas without proper Islamic guidance, which can lead to confusion, silence, or gradual acceptance of values that contradict the teachings of Islam.
These booklets are designed to support Bangladeshi scholars with structured, accessible, and evidence-based resources. They help ensure that public guidance on these matters remains rooted in the Qur’an, authentic Sunnah, and the understanding of qualified scholars, while also being communicated with wisdom, responsibility, and care.
This initiative is among the first structured efforts in Bangladesh to equip Ulema with focused materials on these issues. With such resources, scholars can respond consistently, guide communities responsibly, and protect Muslim families and youth from ideological confusion.
FSD believes that contemporary challenges must not be left unanswered. When sensitive issues are addressed with authentic knowledge and scholarly confidence, the Ummah becomes better prepared to preserve faith, morality, and Islamic identity.
Knowledge gives clarity. Clarity gives confidence. Confidence helps protect the Ummah.
